okay red wedding but the incomprehensible horror following them is just the physical manifestation of all of Q’s unresolved fears and reservations he has about finally standing at the altar and getting married
like it starts out and its clear q is becomign a little bit of a control freak, hes scared of every little thing going wrong and he yells at the desk clerk at the hotel until both of them start crying and sam has to come take him up to his room, but he refuses to admit anything is wrong becasue he wants to marry them, he does, he loves them more than anything and he wants it so fucking bad, but he’s been left so many times and even thouhg he knows they care for him, that they wont leave him, he just cant completely shake the fear. which makes him guilty in its own right, and he cant talk about that with them because then they really will leave him? and its a big wedding and its fancy and its everything hes ever dreamed of, so why is he so scared? hes fine, hes gotta be.
so he doesnt say anything and just tells sam its because hes nervous and so the next day the all head to the venue and the panic is just getting worse and worse. and hes trying hes trying so hard and hes finally granted a breathe when the sound system goes down right before hes supposed to walk down the aisle so people start to scatter a little, run to the bathroom or relax, etc. quackity for his part is left alone in his little getting ready room or whatever while sam and tubbo both go to fix up the speakers, doing his best to make the best of the few minutes to mentally prepare.
